The boot camp offers participants a chance to learn new
skills and connect with like-minded individuals, starting
with an AI boot camp led by Mr. Ahmed Ben Talab and Ms.
Basma Guesmi. The program covers machine learning, deep
learning, and natural language processing, catering to
individuals with no prior experience in AI.
Session 1
IEEE WIE ENIS AG and IEEE WIE ENET'COM AG, featured in AI
Bootcamp offering a comprehensive exploration of
Artificial Intelligence (AI). Participants received an
in-depth introduction to AI, learned about its
distinctions from Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning
(DL), and gained practical experience with learning
algorithms. The session provided both theoretical
understanding and hands-on exposure, setting the stage for
a dynamic learning experience in the WIE ACT 2.0 Bootcamp.
Session 2
In the second session, participants delved into neural
networks, focusing on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs)
for grid-structured data like images, with hands-on
experience in image classification using Python
environments equipped with TensorFlow and Keras. The
session reinforced understanding of AI, ML, and DL
distinctions, provided comprehensive insights into CNN
architecture, and facilitated practical application
discussions through Q&A and case studies.
Session 3
In the third session, participants learn about object
detection, focusing on the YOLO algorithm renowned for
real-time capabilities. They gain hands-on experience in
data preparation, environment setup, and training
processes, equipping them with practical skills in
computer vision for various applications.
Session 4
In the final session of the Bootcamp, participants explore
Natural Language Processing (NLP) and language models
through hands-on exercises, gaining insights into
advancements in AI. The session concludes with
participants expressing satisfaction and acquiring a
robust skill set in NLP, empowering them to contribute
effectively to the field of Artificial Intelligence.
